After way too many 5 fails I finally made it to floor 6, with it not being a disappointing attempt at all, making it all the way to the end of the floor and to the last hard jump before floor 7. Genuinely feels surreal to reach this point in the tower, despite me knowing it was well within my reach for the past week or so; I remember playing this tower all the way back in 2020 when it first released and not being able to do a good majority of the jumps, so to see myself get so far on the tower all these years later really feels good.
Regarding the jump I failed, like I said it's no surprise whatsoever. Quite a controversial take but I personally find it to be the hardest jump of the tower due to it being a purely muscle memory based jump and not able to be made easier with things such as alignments(?). Hopefully I pass it the next time I get there but there's honestly no telling as it's a very tricky jump. If I do pass it there's an extremely high chance I make it to floor 7 and potentially even floor 8, but we'll see.
Also I've seen a lot of discussion revolving around the difficulty of this tower compared to Stairway to Heaven - while I don't have too much experience on STH, having the obby in only 4 runs, I personally think that this tower (on any given fps) is significantly harder. However, you should take the word of the only person with solid experience on both obbies being BoomSasok, who agrees that ToSF is way harder than STH on any fps (including 144, he has a ton of experience with it despite doing his runs on 90). To compare the two obbies, we both agree that reaching floor 8 on this tower is roughly the same difficulty as completing STH. We encourage you to not start any debates about this in any community servers or chats, as almost everyone is taking their opinions based off word of mouth instead of their own proper experiences on the two obbies.
