Incredible chase as woman RAMS troopers with baby in the car.
She led troopers on a 10 mile chase that included her ramming a cruiser and fleeing against highway traffic with her baby still in the car! It all starts with this genius gal, who decides the best way to beat a police stop is to hit the gas with a baby in the backseat. I mean, talk about a new take on the old "baby on board" sign, am I right?
So she's weaving through traffic, going faster than a NASCAR driver on Adderall, for a good 10 miles. The cops are hot on her tail, sirens blaring, but our getaway driver's not slowing down for anything.
Just when you think she's going to make a clean escape, a couple of semi-truck drivers pull off the move of the century. They block her in, but our determined damsel ain't giving up that easy. She rams one of the cruisers, sends it spinning, and keeps right on going.
Now we're talking a real game of chicken through rush-hour traffic, with this maniac zigzagging between cars like she's auditioning for the Dukes of Hazzard reboot. I'm pretty sure the horn honking alone could give you a migraine.
But our heroine's not done yet. She pulls a u-turn on the highway and starts booking it in the opposite direction, weaving in and out of lanes faster than a magician changing costumes. It's like watching a live-action version of Grand Theft Auto, just without the cool soundtrack.
Finally, a state trooper takes matters into his own hands and rams this lady's ride, sending it careening into a ditch. And let me tell you, the takedown is straight out of an action movie. Guns drawn, officers shouting orders, the whole nine yards.
In the end, the baby's safe, thanks to some quick-thinking truckers and one heck of a determined cop. As for our speed-demon mom, she's got a whole heap of felony charges to look forward to. Bet she's wishing she'd just pulled over now, huh?
Remember, gents: When the blue lights flash, it's best to keep your hands on the wheel and your foot off the gas. Unless you want to star in the next episode of "World's Dumbest Criminals: Getaway Driver Edition."
