The Easiest Way Anyone Can make $100
Years ago I invested in a Chinese ecommerce company called Pinduoduo, which means “together, more savings, more fun”. I kept up with news about the company and took notice when they decided to expand into the United States. In September 2022 they launched a US app called Temu, which offered dirt-cheap products made in China.

If you're familiar with the clothing company Shein, it’s like that, but Temu also offers electronics, household goods, games, and toys. The app gained a lot of attention after Temu aired their “shop like a billionaire” commercial during this year's superbowl.

Using Temu was a bit like a treasure hunt, you would occasionally see something really interesting, fun, or useful, but to find that one gem you had to scroll through dozens of strange and sometimes comical products.

There are plenty of ridiculous items to laugh at, cringeworthy inventions, and products that you didn't even know you needed until you laid eyes on it…And now you must have it!

Many of the prices on Temu were somewhat unbelievable, and that added some mystery to the purchase, you would be left wondering what would actually show up, as you rolled the dice on a low stakes purchase.

Drones
One of the items that immediately stood out to me was a $15 drone that is a digital door crasher deal on the app.

If you see an item you think will sell and want to give this a try, search on OfferUp, and Facebook Marketplace to make sure your local market is not over saturated.

Then find out what the item is selling for on Amazon and make sure you can sell it locally for less and still profit. I bet those drones will still sell, just make sure you do a couple of minutes of research to make sure someone has not beaten you to it. You can still get them for $15-$20 each.

It is an easy way to make some extra cash or to pay off the rest of the items on your Temu order.

If you have not used Temu before I have included a code below that will give you 30% off your first order.

And that was about the time I realized I needed to sell these drones. I listed them on OfferUp and Facebook marketplace, within a couple days both of them had sold for $50.

I had planned to give these drones away as gifts, so I ordered some replacement drones, and added a couple extra on my order to sell. The three extra I had ordered sold quickly for $50 each. I was basically able to order a bunch of stuff on Temu for free and still make some money by selling the drones.

Remote Control Excavators

I decided to try my luck again, and while I was on the app I fell in love with another item, a remote control excavator. Ten-year-old me would be so proud, I bought three of them for $25 each in addition to some drones and other items.

There was a huge amount of interest in the RC excavators, but despite the buzz, I sold one for $45 and the other two for $35. Once again my drones were a reliable seller and sold for $50 each.

I made a modest profit on the remote control excavators, but I regret not keeping one for myself.
