Remembrance Sunday Brixton 2024
A Remembrance Day ceremony took place at Windrush Square, Brixton. The ceremony commemorated Afro/Caribbean Soldiers who fought in both World Wars. This event also highlights that the memorial dedicated to Afro/Caribbean soldiers marks 10 years since it was first placed. The day was attended by Afro/Caribbean soldiers, the local mayor for Lambeth, community leaders and local officials.
