\\ How to Run Wii Backups on Wii-U (vWii/Wii Mode)

Today we are further softmodding the Wii Mode (vWii) of the Wii-U to run Wii backups. This is again very easy to do but make sure you follow all the steps carefully.

STUFF YOU NEED TO PLAY Wii BACKUPS iN vWii (Wii Mode)

A SD Card
Homebrew Channel Installed (Guide: http://bit.ly/11Kg1Ma)
IOS36-64-v3864.wad
Bluedump 0.3
d2x cIOS Installer v2.2 with d2x-v10-beta53-alt-vWii
IOS236 Installer MOD v6 Special vWii Edition
Multi Mod Manager
Wiiflow
A USB HDD (3.5" Are Recommended)

STEP BY STEP GUiDE: HOW TO RUN BACKUPS IN vWii
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -

oo - Haven´t installed Homebrew Channel? Check above!

o1 - Download the Apps pack. (http://bit.ly/15Li8jG)

o2 - Place the contents on the root of your SD card.

o3 - Boot into vWii mode and launch the "Homebrew Channel".

o4 - Boot "IOS236 Installer MOD v6 Special vWii Edition" Hit Any button to install then hit any button to return to "HBC".

o5 - Run "Multi Mod Manager", hit left on the dpad, then select IOS 236 and return to the menu.

o6 - Still in "Multi Mod Manager", Select "App Manager" then launch "Bluedump".

o7 - In "Bluedump" hit "A" on "System Titles" Select "IOS56", use the dpad to select "Backup to wad file" Press "A" and it will dump "IOS56" to the SD card.

o8 - Repeat Step o7 but this time dump IOS57 and IOS58

o9 - Exit to the HBC then remove your SD card and connect it to a PC, Copy IOS56, IOS57 and IOS58 from SD:\Bluedump\WAD\ to the root of your SD card then Rename them like this:

IOS56-64-v5918.wad
IOS57-64-v6175.wad
IOS58-64-v6432.wad.

1o - Reinsert the SD card and launch "D2X cIOS Installer".

11 - Hit any button then Pick IOS 236 to use for the installation and hit "A" to continue.

12 - Now we need to setup the various CiOS:

For "Select Cios" Select "d2x-v10-beta53-alt-vWii"
For "Select Cios Base" Select 56
For "Select Cios Slot" Select 249

Hit "A" to install. Once done, repeat with these settings.

For "Select Cios Base" Select 57
For "Select Cios Slot" Select 250

Hit "A" to install. Once done, repeat with these settings.

For "Select Cios Base" Select 58
For "Select Cios Slot" Select 251

Exit to the Homebrew Channel.

13 - Run "Wiiflow Channel Installer" pick "Install" then exit to HBC.

14 - You can now delete everything from your SD except Wiiflow.

15 - Insert a 3.5" USB HDD into the back top left USB Port. 2.5" Drives will work put you need to supply them with power..

16 - Run Wiiflow from the System Menu or from the HBC.

17 - In Wiiflow Select "Choose Partition" then Select "USB1"

18 - Select "Install Game" and insert a Wii Game you want to backup. Select "GO" and it will begin backing up your Game to USB. (You can also copy images to the wbfs folder on the USB root)

19 - Once you have some games backed up, Go into settings, choose download covers, then select all. If you have an internet connection this will download cover artwork for your games.

2o - Play your games :)
