The music used is Alien III - Stage 2 for the Sega Genesis

This is what I got done on Queen Beetra's Boss fight for ScratchHead 0.8 before I halted development to move onto Game Maker. I wish I could of got more done, but I just it was time to move on to another project.

Queen Beetra's first phase is mostly done aside from some animations and one attack. Its intent was to be very minion focused compared to other bosses as a way to keep the idea of her previous incarnations but in a new way.

Phase two's attacks were complete conceptually but never got to the state of animating. Beetra would start attacking herself and you'd need to strategize around her honey blobs, like a harder version of Harrier's first and final phases.

Phase three had some concepts made but never got to coding and animating. Beetra would of drank the potions the bees were carrying in Phase 2 and turned into more monstrous form. A spider-like design was the main idea. The phase gameplay wise would be a 1v1 against her as the platform you were standing on would start falling deeper into the hive, Beetra giving chase.

The big inspirations for the fight mechanically were the Laser Cannon boss from Blazing Chrome and Two Face's Zeppelin from The Adventures of Batman and Robin (Sega Genesis)

Visually this fight was inspired by Rumor Honeybottoms from Cuphead, The Hive from Hollow Knight, and the Jungle from Terraria.
