Shingwedzi Camp, located in the northern part of Kruger National Park is surrounded by Mopani forests and the Shingwedzi River, the camp is a haven for wildlife and offers a more secluded and intimate experience compared to some of the busier camps in the park. The area around Shingwedzi is known for its diverse wildlife. Elephant herds, buffalo, and lion are commonly sighted, along with a rich birdlife that makes it a bird-watchers paradise. Night drives give you the chance to see nocturnal animals like leopards, hyenas, and bush babies. After the sun sets, the African sky comes alive with stars, providing a spectacular view of the Milky Way,
Located on a high cliff overlooking the Olifants River, Olifants Camp offers some of the most breathtaking views in Kruger National Park. The camp’s elevation provides a unique vantage point for spotting wildlife in the river below and the surrounding plains. The area around Olifants is teeming with wildlife, thanks to the river that attracts animals year-round. In this video you will see Lions, Hyenas, wild dogs and a variety of antelopes.
Both these camps offers you the big 5 although the rhinos are hard to find.
