Hey All! The first episode of Dating Problems for 2020 is out! Funny enough this episode was shot almost 3 years ago on the hottest day of the year. It was 100 degrees in Highland Park and we had to make it look like it was night during the day so we bagged all of the windows with trash bags cutting off all of the airflow. This was shot in an old house so there was no AC and the entire cast and crew were dripping in sweat the entire time. Literally the DPs pants were falling off because the weight of the sweat pooled so much was dragging his pants down. Even with all of that hard work some reason after getting earlier cuts I sat on the project for a number of years. With all of the time because of the pandemic I was able to revisit the project and realized how funny it was with a few minor tweaks, namely music. It’s great how one little detail can open up a whole project.
As for the episode itself— have you ever been ask to go over to a new love interest’s house to “Netflix and chill” expecting more “chilling” and less “netflixing”. That’s what this episode is about. Going into a situation with one idea on how the night is supposed to go and getting a different result… or so you think. So enjoy this episode exploring expectations in hookup culture with someone who has a late night appetite!
Check back in two weeks as I actually have an episode of Office Problems ready to be released ON TIME FOR ONCE! New content every other week with some surprises in between. Guaranteed content on time for the next month as some projects have come together.
