Synthstrom Deluge + Helix: The Ultimate Looping Setup [HOW-TO]
This video walks you through setting up MIDI and audio between Deluge and Helix for hands free live looping of guitars, basses and synths.
In essence, this gives you a footswitch-controlled drum machine/synth/sampler/looper/arranger/recorder and guitar & bass modeling rig in an extremely small and portable package, without needing a computer.
Note that there are dozens of ways you could route MIDI and audio across these and other devices, so feel free to adapt this to your specific needs (like having a footswitch for undo, or Deluge being the master clock).
