TABLE. Garden Fertilizing Schedules - One-Time and Long-Term
Dig holes or slits around trees and shrubs.
Pour 5 liters of monopotassium phosphate solution into each slit. Add 20 liters of monopotassium phosphate to each pit. 1 heaping tablespoon per 10 liters. Do not pre-water.
For long-term fertilizing, after watering with monopotassium phosphate, add dry Borofoska
1 cup into each slit
up to 1 kg in each fertilizing pit. When fertilizing strawberries, use a solution of monopotassium phosphate (MP) at a rate of 2 teaspoons per 10 liters and water each plant with 1 liter of the solution.
For foliar feeding, use 50 grams of MP per 10 liters.
When fertilizing trees and shrubs growing in the lawn, use crevices, which are then filled with fertile soil.
It is advisable to keep the pH of the MP solution around 6 units.

Use a shovel to make crevices or holes.
Pour approximately 5 liters of MP into each crevice, and pour 20 liters of MP into each hole. Use 1 heaped tablespoon of MP per bucket. Do not pre-water. It is better to use a MP solution containing trace elements. If long-term feeding is needed, after watering with the MKF, sprinkle 1 cup of borofoska into each crevice. I add up to 1 kg of borofoska to the hole for mature plants. Bury it in. Borofoska will provide plants with potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, and boron for many years. It's also relatively inexpensive.
When fertilizing strawberries, use a maximum of 10 grams of monopotassium phosphate per 10 liters, and 1 liter per bush. Strawberries don't like strong fertilizers.
Remember, all fertilizer solutions should have a pH of around 6. If you have limescale on your kettle, add half a teaspoon of citric acid per 10 liters of solution.
As a last resort, you can spray the plants with monopotassium phosphate: 50 grams per 10 liters. However, phosphorus is very poorly absorbed through the leaves, and potassium will also be limited. If you have a lawn under your trees, fertilize them through the cracks, but make the cracks longer and deeper. After fertilizing, fill the cracks with good soil.
Many hard-working gardeners dig up the trunks of apple, pear, and cherry trees every single year. I don't see much point in this. There are almost no absorbent roots in the trunk circle, and it's very labor-intensive. Take care of your trees' health.
And finally, if your trees and shrubs have serious diseases, begin treating them immediately after harvesting with good chemicals. Don't rely solely on a one-time eradication treatment. Disease spores are much easier to reach now in August than in the cold, damp weather of November.
