Call of Cthulhu: Turn of a New Leaf - Session 19
Session 19: Given no chance to rest, the rug of sense and sanity is pulled out from under Agent Alex Thornton (@stochasticagency ) as he finds himself girded for battle against a brutal gangster, returned from the dead, and far more than human.
This campaign is set in Boston in 1931 using the 6th edition of @ChaosiumInc 's Call of Cthulhu. This new point of view in the campaign crosses two social lines - the very rich, and the inner workings of the Treasury Department's Bureau of Prohibition office in Boston. Agent Alex Thornton has uncovered two questions the corrupt police force and the local papers seemed to be ignoring: How does a rival gang displace an entrenched crime family beloved by the people of Boston, and does it have anything to do with the rising number of missing persons cases? Now his forces intersect with those of Lt. Gabriel Washburn.
Turn of a New Leaf opened with a struggling reporter for the Boston Globe, then continued with the addition of a true crime reporter to document the impossible details surrounding the case. Now, armed with the knowledge and wit of a reclusive antiquarian, they are pursuing leads they fear to find the answers to.
Will others join them or Agent Thornton? Time will tell...
