"This is the make-or-break decade. But what we have in front of us is not enough of a step forward for people and planet... tomorrow we start preparing for COP28, because the world is watching us", Executive Vice-President Timmermans told COP delegates as he urged them to show more ambition on reducing emissions. That is how the world meets its commitments made under the Paris Agreement and in Glasgow last year, and how we will make progress in the fight against climate change.
