Doing It Like a Grownup: Oral Sex!
Let's talk about safe oral sex! Today my friend Matt Asaro, a dentist, and I discuss oral sexual health. Did you know that some sexually transmitted infections can be passed between partners who engage in oral sex? Matt discusses the transmission of HPV and herpes particularly. We talk about oral manifestations to look out for (as well as spots in your mouth that aren't a STI). As always, the best way to practice safe sex is to use protection (condoms), limit your number of sexual partners, and get tested regularly if you have new partners.
