Interestingly enough the previous variations are in the intro the the new intros straight after that (crazy!) 'Octave fading in/out' means going up to until at the correct pitch (the sound) by and in octaves at the start (in) or down from the correct pitch (out). Var 5-7 uses this effect at the start at the end (the term), var 8 and 9 use this where the windows xp error sound(s) which is a bit different to what I said earlier.
