The work of ancient scientists yielded explanations and results that the world still uses today.
This was difficult work, so already in the early 18th century, scientists came up with an idea for how to simplify this work and make it accessible to everyone. Including every fool.
First, we shouldn't explore the world—not work with our hands—but rather invent theories about how the world works, that is, be a "theoretical scientist"... Marie Skłodowska-Curie, a two-time Nobel laureate who discovered radium, polonium, and radioactivity (and gave the phenomenon its name), never left her laboratory even at the beginning of the last century, where she, as they say, "plowed"... And L. Landau, considered a somewhat outstanding physicist, boasted that he had never set foot in a physics laboratory in his life and did all his "fundamental work" literally lying on the couch...
