Every dog can attack
There are more than 800 dog attacks in Cairns each year.
Any dog, no matter how friendly or well-behaved, can react badly if they feel threatened, anxious or afraid.
You can play your part in protecting the community by:
Always walking your pet on a lead
Keeping a close eye on your dog at off-leash areas
Making sure they can't escape from your yard.
