Summary:
After the Traveler completes their task at the Temples, they return to Mondstadt and report to Jean. They encounter a masked woman who suggests killing the dragon, Stormterror (Dvalin), to solve the problem. Jean dismisses her, revealing she is a Fatui diplomat. The Traveler possesses a mysterious gem found earlier, which they later discover can purify itself. The stranger, Venti, recognizes the Traveler and reveals that their powers can save Dvalin. They agree to meet at Mondstadt's Hero, a great tree. Venti explains that Dvalin is suffering from degradation, exploited by the Abyss Order. To obtain the "Holy Lyre der Himmel," they must deal with the Fatui and Abyss Mages. Diluc joins the cause, and the group manages to retrieve the lyre, but it shatters during their attempt to purify Dvalin, who is swayed by the Abyss Mage.
