In this method I pulled out all the stops to optimize my pathing. I save 10 ticks over the previous video and get more logs in a shorter time period. Also of note is that I also worked on optimizing my run energy so that it regenerates fully before I start a new cycle. That means walking as much as possible between trees when it can be done without losing ticks. The woodcutting cycle is 4 ticks and you only need to be interacting with the tree for the 1st and 4th tick, so you have 2 free ticks in between to move freely and in this video I maximize the usage of these free ticks. I also found the path of least resistance between the trees by checking all their nearby neighbours in order to pick the most efficient route. In this method I manage to chop 26 logs in 124 ticks, and instead of firemaking them I fletch them (which is faster, but I have full run energy by the end anyway so its ok)
A full cycle (excluding the dropping of the longbows) takes me 204 ticks and yields 650 woodcutting exp and 260 fletching exp. So we're looking at around 18.5k wcing exp/hr and 7.5k fletching exp per hour. Nice!!
