Superstore Sales Analysis Dashboard
I'm excited to share my latest dashboard, which offers a comprehensive view of Superstore Sales Performance. This dashboard comprises different charts, each providing valuable insights.
Area Chart for KPIs:
At the heart of my dashboard, we'll find there are three area chart that vividly illustrates KPIs. The three key metrics it represents are revenue, profit, and the number of transactions. This chart helps us track performance over time, allowing us to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Line Chart - Monthly Profit Trends by Segments:
Moving on, I have created a line chart showcasing the monthly profit trends broken down by segments. This chart helps us understand which segments are driving our profits. Notably, we'll notice the consumer segment reaching its highest point, indicating its significant contribution to our overall profit.
Line Chart - Monthly Profit Overview with Key Highlights:
In this chart, I present an overview of our monthly profit. What sets this chart apart is the three highest profit months, clearly marked with their names. Moreover, I've added a unique touch by displaying the profit percentage for these three exceptional months compared to our overall monthly performance.
Doughnut Charts for Product Categories:
Further as you navigate through our dashboard, you'll come across three distinctive doughnut charts. Each chart corresponds to one of our product categories: furniture, technology, and office supplies. These doughnut charts visually depict the distribution of revenue within each category, providing a clear snapshot of the financial landscape.
Percentage Breakdown - Doughnut Charts:
The cherry on top is the inclusion of doughnut charts. Each product category is accompanied by its own doughnut chart, illustrating the percentage of revenue it contributes to the overall revenue. Notably, the data reveals that the highest revenue contribution comes from the technology category, underlining its significant role in our overall revenue generation.
Column Chart;
Within this dashboard, I've carefully crafted a column chart which shows profit , Revenue and quantity over multiple years.
At the top of this chart, we'll find three user-friendly option buttons: 'Profit,' 'Revenue,' and 'Quantity.' These buttons allow to seamlessly switch between different data views, providing a clear picture of our financial performance based on selection.
But what truly sets this chart apart is the 'Average Line.' This is where the magic happens. The Average Line gracefully stretches across the chart, acting as a benchmark for our business performance.
Now, when we select 'Profit' and look at the chart, we'll immediately notice some years where our profit soars above this Average Line. These are the standout years, where we've not just met but exceeded our financial goals.
Conversely, we'll see other years where our profit or revenue dips below the Average Line. These are the challenging moments when we need to dig deeper into the data to understand what went wrong. It's like a stormy sea that we must navigate to reach calmer waters.
In essence, this chart serves as a visual storyteller, highlighting which years we excelled and which ones demanded our attention. It's a dashboard that speaks volumes without a word, helping us make informed decisions, learn from our past, and steer the ship towards a more profitable future.
