Global Fire Power 2021 published its world military ranking. In this global fire ranking, Pakistan and Arab Amirat improve their Military Strength.
In the global fire ranking, 138 countries Bangladesh military rank is 45. For 2021, Bangladesh military rank 45 of 138 out of the countries considered for the annual GFP review. IBangladesh armed forces holds a PwrIndx* rating of 0.7497 points.

The Global Firepower (GFP) has released the 2021 Military Strength Rankings. Bangladesh is in the 45th position one step ahead of last year.
Bangladesh military power updates on Global Firepower:
1. Bangladesh used to be out of 30 with 160,000 troops which are now in the 25th position with 2.04,000 troops.
2. Bangladesh has the largest paramilitary force in the world with 6 lakh paramilitary forces. North Korea's paramilitary, which is in the second position, has a size of 6 million.
3. The number of Bangladesh trainers, transports, and helicopters has increased in Bangladesh Air Forces. However, the Air Force's ranking is still 52nd.
4. The number of Bangladesh army tanks has been shown as 244 before but now it is 720. Bangladesh is 30th in the number of tanks.
5. The number of Bangladesh armored vehicles has been increased to 2000. 35th in this respect.
6. The number of all types of Bangladesh army artillery has increased. However, rocket projectors have not increased.
7. No updates were made to the Bangladesh Navy. Although Bangladesh commissioned new ships, they were probably not listed because they were commissioned at the end of the year.
8. All in all, Bangladesh military has advanced one step from 46th to 45th.
The Global Fire power shows that, as always, the United States USA has maintained a top position in military power in 2021. Russia is in the second Global fire power position. China and India are in third and fourth place respectively. Pakistan ranks 10th in military power. Neighboring Myanmar military ranks 36th. The UAE is also 36th. Bhutan is the 138th largest military power in South Asia.
According to the GFP, the list takes into account the number of military equipment in a country, as well as the variety of military equipment.
