Space Quest 4 - Retrieving the Unstable Ordnance without dying
The Unstable Ordnance is a red herring in Space Quest 4. Roger will die if he attempts to enter the Sewers with the Unstable Ordnance in his possession.
In addition, the Sequel Police will shoot Roger if he takes it before entering the landing gear compartment of the Sequel Police Patrol Shuttle.
However, you can retrieve the Unstable Ordnance if you increase the game speed which will give you just enough time to avoid the Sequel Police.
This will allow you to achieve 20 points over the max score at the end of the game as shown here:
