After Kris' encounter with the mysterious man in the shadows, a door opens up ahead letting out a decent amount of light. A new figure walks through this door and spots Kris. This is Asgore!
Asgore moved to a new home many years ago after unfortunate incidents rendered him emotionally unfit to reign as king of the Underground. Ever since moving, he's built a new, down-to-earth (or down-in-earth, even) life, coexisting among other monsters as equals, as a member of their community, trying to help make their living environment more pleasant and inhabitable.
Some of the monsters still treat him with a walking-on-eggshells amount of respect, something he wishes he could leave behind in favor of living a more comfortable life removed from all the politics.
The Old Switcheroo is my very own take on Underswap! The majority of the swaps are what you'd expect, but there are a small handful that stray from the expectations of your average Underswap take.
