Let’s take the Celtic fiddle tune, “Swallowtail Jig” and make it a bit more accessible by simplifying the A part just a bit. Then, once you’ve comfortable with that, we’ll add in a couple of notes to make it more accurate to the way you’ll usually hear this tune. By the end of the video, we’ll have looked at several ways to play this and they’re all equally correct and sound great. One item of note: for some reason, my tabs program put three beats/ measure in this when it should only be two beats. One measure should just be ONE, two, three, FOUR, five, six. Doesn’t affect the tabs or playing in any way, but just mentioning.
