Forge of Empires Player Review #review #overview
FOE as they like to call it, seems to be a relatively
calm building - pvp game that you can play in guilds or Solo.
Lovely buildings and research take you from the Stone and
Bronze ages right through the Modern, Post Modern,
Future Tech eras and far Beyond. If you've got the Diamonds,
Forge Points, Supplies, Gold and era correct items necessarily
required to take you there.
This so called free game relies partly on impatience and
partly on natural desire to accomplish things to tempt
you greatly to purchase those requirements with real cash.
There's plenty of daily opportunites, quests, and ads if you're
playing on mobile, to click on "deals" to make those purchases.
It's pretty. Most people that I met in game tried to be
friendly and helpful, but I haven't played the pvp or guilds,
which would probably create even more need to buy resources
to rebuild your armies because you won't be able to keep
re-training troops in the time given or enough space to build
more troop barracks on the map. Or pay the high resource
prices to train them.
Playing without paying runs out of steam in less than a week, in my opinion.
And the costs of playing can be considerably steep if you let it.
There are other building games out there that cost a fee
and then you play till your hearts content.
