Interview with Veteran Hollywood Script Supervisor RONIT RAVICH-BOSS
I was very honoured to interview legendary script supervisor Ronit Ravich-Boss for the script supervisors and filmmakers in my Director Whisperer Training Program. It turned out so well, we wanted to share an edited version with the community at large.
Originally from Israel, RONIT RAVICH-BOSS pursued her passion for language as a student of linguistics. While at university, she worked at the Israeli film institute, and from there, embarked on a journey through various roles in the industry, from production coordination to editing. Working in post for three years was her first film school, and the transition to script supervision was a natural one. Honing her skills for over a decade in Israel before getting a job on Rambo III (her second film school), she then moved to the United States and began at the legendary Roger Corman Studios.
She built connections that propelled her career forward to script supervising major motion pictures and TV series including the first two Austin Powers movies, Ghost World, Girl, Interrupted, Legally Blonde,SuperBad, Pineapple Express, The Morning Show and so many more, in a formidable veteran career spanning nearly four decades.
