Difference Between AI and Machine Learning
In today's video, we're discussing the difference between Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. These terms are often used interchangeably, but they represent different concepts. This video breaks down what each one means and how they relate to each other.

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is a broad field of computer science focused on creating systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence. These tasks include reasoning, learning, problem-solving, understanding natural language, and perception. AI encompasses a wide range of techniques and approaches, from simple rule-based systems to complex neural networks.

Examples of AI in action include autonomous vehicles that navigate roads, virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa that understand and respond to voice commands, and robots that can perform complex tasks.

Machine Learning, or ML, is a subset of AI that focuses on the development of algorithms and statistical models that enable computers to learn from and make predictions or decisions based on data. In other words, machine learning involves training models on data to identify patterns and make informed decisions without being explicitly programmed for specific tasks.

Machine learning can be categorized into three main types: supervised learning, where the model learns from labeled data; unsupervised learning, where the model identifies patterns in unlabeled data; and reinforcement learning, where the model learns through trial and error in an interactive environment.

So, what is the Relationship Between AI and ML?

Think of AI as the overarching concept that aims to create intelligent systems. Machine learning is one approach within AI that focuses on using data to train models. Not all AI systems use machine learning, but all machine learning is considered a part of AI.

In summary, AI is the broader field that encompasses the pursuit of creating intelligent systems, and machine learning is a key component of AI that enables systems to learn from data. Examples of AI include everything from chess-playing computers to voice recognition systems, while machine learning applications include recommendation engines, image recognition, and predictive analytics.
