Rode VideoMicro 3D Printed Desktop Microphone Stand - Tinkercad Tutorial and Finished Print
I needed a stand for my Rode VideoMicro Microphone to place on a desk when I narrate my videos. I decided to use Tinkercad to create the 3D model as an easy project that people thinking of getting into 3D modeling and printing could use as a general tutorial and walk through of the program. I would normally use Fusion 360, but Tinkercad is available to people just looking to get started and I like to give quick tutorials that may help someone understand the concepts of aligning, grouping, and cutting parts in Tinkercad. I use Tinkercad in a free-thought /sculpting style of building. If I needed to create a precise part, I would create it in Fusion 360. For people new to 3D design I think it is the best program to start with and begin to get a feel for the shaping of parts.
