Externships are controversial. There are so many opinions around this. What I have seen most cannot get started with one just because they are unsure of what they can contribute to an organization.
In my opinion. Externships are underrated. It's the fastest way to build your network and learn from a lot of organizations.
You will comparatively learn faster and the best part is, every externship pays off eventually. I feel externships are a great way to get into your dream startup. Majority of the time, it gets converted to paid ones.
Or else you know what's great for you. You will understand what you are gaining eventually.
