AR-7 Survival Rifle
Originally created by Armalite in the late 1950's to 1960, the AR-7 take-down rifle was designed for the United States Air Force as an air crew surivial weapon. In other words, if a pilot/crew member had to eject, the aircraft crashed ,or after an emergency landing during combat or in a remote area, they had a means of self defense and hunting small game.
Bring in the AR-7 suvival rifle system. Originally designed for military use, but now sold to the general public, they are a popular firearm used by the hiking, camping and fishing communities.
