NOTE: Most people have seen Hoya Hearts growing as a single thick leaf in a small pot. It’s important to know that single leaf cuttings will NOT produce a new plant, as the plant requires a vine to successfully grow. If you hope to have a full, lush Hoya kerrii, avoid these single-leafed plants and get a plant with at least two leaves.

General Care and Maintenance info via Internet:
Light: Hoyas prefer bright indirect light, with filtered or dappled sunlight. Direct sunlight can be tolerated, but it’s essential to provide some shade to prevent scorching. Slow-growing Hoya kerrii plants may take years to start growing new heart leaves. So, you need to be patient and keep the plant growing in bright light, but protected from the sun’s direct rays.
Water: The Hoya stores water in its thick leaf pad, so do not over-water. Wait until the soil is dry. I like to check the bottom of my pot, and if the soil down there feels dry, then I know it's time to give my plant a drink. Allow time between watering as they will not flower if the soil is too damp. Don't give your Hoya too large of a pot size as it increases the chance of root damage from over-watering.
Fertilizer: Hoya kerrii are not high feeders. Once your plant is mature fertilize it with a low dosage, balanced, slow release fertilizer, such as Osmocote during their active growing period in spring and summer.
Shape: Be prepared to let your plant grow horizontally or place some kind of sticks or trellis around it and train your plant to grow vertically.
Flowering: This plant typically does not bloom until it is at least 2-3 years old, and they tend to bloom more readily when they are slightly root bound.
