(English Dub) Naja, ich wollte dir das Gegenteil beweisen (Oh well, I wanted to prove you wrong)
The secrets to eternal youth?
Since Candy (Cherrie) was a child, she has always dreamed of becoming a superstar...
However, during an audition for a TV show, her self-confidence has been shaken, as she gets criticized by the casting director (Mike Hull). She didn't get any close to Hollywood afterall, however, being a "too positive" character, Candy quickly recovers and tries almost everything to prove the casting director wrong. A short fiction film with a touch of humour, suited for both children and adults.
The short film was shot in 2020 during the Corona crisis by a two-person production team in a very short time, with very few equipment, no budget, and under harsh conditions due to the pandemic situation.
A funny story of a girl who works hard to reach her goal.
