After cutting your carpet with a straight edge and razor blade, roll out the glue strip in between the two pieces with the glued side “up”. Center it between your two pieces of carpet. After the carpet seam iron is warmed up, place it on glue stripand slowly move backwards. The iron is designed to separate the pieces of carpet as you go. Use the carpet tucker tool to apply pressure to the glued seam as you slowly move backwards. Sometimes i stand and walk on the seem to make sure enough pressure has been applied to stick. Trim off any carpet strands with your razor blade. This a YouTube #shorts video in a series of “how to” videos.
