Minecraft Bedrock has expanded to tons of devices like iOS, Android, PS4/PS5, and recently the Chromebook...? This seems to be a weird decision, given that most people don't own a Chromebook for playing games. Regardless, I break down why Minecraft for the Chromebook exists, discussing things like its relation to Minecraft Education Edition, and the fact that almost 60% of students use a Chromebook for school. I also review a Lenovo Chromebook that I was sent by the lovely people at the Minecraft Creator Launchpad (not sponsored), and give my opinions on the gameplay quirks (like Minecraft Mobile/Touch controls) and performance that it brings. All of this commentary, over some Minecraft Chromebook gameplay on the Hive and other Minecraft minigame servers.
