Neotericoi
'Neotericoi'
The Neotericoi (Greek) were a group of poets who shunned the Homeric epic literary style of the time and wrote in a more personalized and shorter style. They were also known to be mostly young, quite often drunk and usually unkempt. They were the greek version of hippies, except these literary rabble-rousers started their movement around 320 BC.
The shell of the Giant Nautilus was often used as a focal point during alcohol and drug fueled discussions of life, love and the meaning of it all. The prismatic primaries and chambered whorl reflect and refract the light of sunset off their sandstone walls. Elevating the enlightened atmosphere with an illuminous gravity.
