AU - Season 5
What if Sawyer and Juliet were stuck in time where the original survivors were there. Most importantly, in a time where Kate was still on the island.
PLOT
"I wanted to step right up and talk to her."
"Why didn't you?"
Sawyer decides that he's not ready to say goodbye to Kate. He goes looking for her and finds himself remembering the days gone by and wishing that Kate was still with him.
Juliet thinks that Sawyer hasn't thought this through and is going to end up getting hurt.
Sawyer tries to hide his emotions but Juliet can see his true colours shinging through; he's hurting bad.
When the island finally catches up in time, there's no Kate. Juliet tries to comfort him ("you can call me up, coz you know i'll be there) but Sawyer can't take it. He feels like he's losing her all over again and goes to drastic measures to end his pain.
