FY 2024 National Expenditure Program: Energy Cost
The National Budget-at-a-Glance: The proposed national budget for FY 2024, amounting to Php 5.768 trillion, has been crafted to achieve the country’s near-term objectives identified in the 8-point Socioeconomic Agenda.
To reduce energy costs and promote a sustainable mix of energy resources, the Administration is targeting a 35 percent share of renewable energy in the power mix by 2030.
This will be achieved through the implementation of the Renewable Energy Development, Energy Efficiency and Conservation, and Alternative Fuels and Technologies Programs.
