Happy Halloweeeeeen 🎃Thought I'd drop an MV about the orange chaos creature for the occassion!
Rare that I /ever/ get anything that I planned out done in time, or at all! But this was a lot easier to make in a month with a limited palette and majority pmv. Was going for a pseudo Flipnote 3d look, and as much as I wanted to actually do this in flipnote, my ambition isn't matched by my working speed 💀
Longest part of all this was the storyboards anyway. So many scrapped shots all for the sake of clarity, rip
SOME EXPLANATION OF WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE MV:
Jaffa (The always smiling cat) is cursed to be forever hungry, only satiated by living flesh. But they never act on the urge (because they'd have to resort to murder) and so, stay hungry. Jaffa can eat a whole banquet of food and still feel completely empty, but they do it to keep up an appearance of normality. (Not gonna explain all the conditions of Jaffa's curse, but the full scope of it is on their toyhouse)
Though every now and then they're tempted when Chroma (The cat with the dinner plate) entices them with live offerings, knowing full well a single drop of blood is enough to send Jaffa over the edge. She finds Jaffa's inner conflict entertaining, but she also uses them to take care of certain people by playing with their morality e.x. 'Is it really a crime if they're a criminal? You'd be enacting justice.'
Of the few who know about the curse, Walker (The dog, dw guys he's not actually dead the corpse is someone else) tries to keep Jaffa away from triggers. But in the event of the plan failing, all he can do is hide and wait for Jaffa to return to their senses.
