PixInsight Tutorial - How to remove or reduce halos around bright stars
In this video I will show you how to use PixInsight to remove or reduce halo effects around bright stars. The main reason for this is the use of non-optimal coatings on optical surfaces in your image train, but if you can’t afford the high end filters you will probably get this effect sometimes.
