R8 Solo Say Something
This freestyle routine was performed by our owner, Diane Martin, during our eighth recital, on June 22, 2014. Diane told the audience of students and their friends and family members that she had decided to step way outside of her comfort zone and try a freestyle dance rather than choreographing a routine, partly because sometimes life gets in the way and we are called upon to "wing it," and partly to inspire them, too, to step outside of that comfortable place once in awhile and take a risk. It went better than she expected, and she learned as much about herself by doing it as she may have taught others.
