This is how you do an up hill start on a motorcycle. Situations can include but are not limited to red lights, stop signs, flashing red light, flashing sirens, cops, baby, pregnant lady, idiots, a crocodile.
You want to be able to take off on an up hill so that others don't think you're stupid and also because you don't want to slide back and hit something like an infant. Also there could be hot chicks and they would be like omg so sexy with a bike and you don't want to stall and fall over like a newb.
