What's next? - Photography, Tutorials, Vlog ?! - Let's talk!
In just a few days it will be Christmas
And the year 2016 will end in just a few more
I don't know about you, but for me, I tend to look back and reflect in the holiday season.
Here it seems best to reflect on YouTube, on my channel.
I am very greatful to what happened with my channel.
I was hoping to reach 100 subscribers and, at this moment, we are with 182.
The interaction with the community grew and I'm very pleased about that!
In the end it's all about the community. The statistics become real people through comments, e-mail and chat.
I thank you for this and I hope we can continue this in the coming year.
During this year I tried a few things with my channel.
Some worked, some didn't.
Some need more attention and effort in order to grow.
I plan on continuing experimenting with content. One example would be tutorials on photography.
Another example could be an almost vlogging thingy.
Don't worry: I won't start a daily vlog.
I have set myself some goals and I think it might be interesting to keep you posted on my successes AND my failures.
However: I want to make more videos and I want to experiment with videos.
I promise you that it will happen!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to post another video this year.
I still have a few photowalks to edit and there is a new Gear Talk waiting on one of my hard drives. That too needs some work.
In the coming weeks I want to go out more and take pictures
AND I want to spend some real time with family and friends.
Not just because it is the season.
Mostly because it is possible to do so.

That brings me to the new year.
For me a new year is similar to a new day: you never know what to expect.
Only thing we know is what happened in the past.
I hope we can learn from the past.
I hope we all can start talking with each-other so we can get rid of fear and anger
If we realize ourselves we all need each-other
we might be able to stop pain, suffering and even war.
