Hotel Victoria Wedding Film | Nick + Sophie Trailer
What an amazing day this was, set on the gorgeous coastline of Newquay, Nick and Sophie's wedding was a day to remember!
The day took place in the Legacy Hotel Victoria, with its stunning staircases, impressive chandeliers and stunning sea views over the Great Western Beach in Newquay, Cornwall. Nick and Sophie love all things family, with Nick's 14 year old son, and their 4 year old daughter along with a cocker spaniel, they are very busy. Nick and Sophie love to watch the horse racing and go to Cheltenham every year, they even got engaged at Royal Ascot!
This was an absolutely brilliant day, with the service taking place in the conservatory area of the hotel, with lots of natural sunlight spilling through the windows along with those beautiful seaside views! After the ceremony we gathered everybody outside for a giant confetti tunnel, as you can see in the trailer, doing these type of shots makes for brilliant video footage and adds so much to the final films.
Later in the day we took Nick and Sophie down to the beach for a private couples shoot. Despite it being the height of summer and the beaches being busy, we managed to find a little private corner of the beach, just for the two of them. We are so pleased with how this couples shoot turned out, you can really see Nick and Sophie's personalities coming through and it is clear how much love they have between them. Couple this with the lush sandy Cornish beach, and bright sunshine and that is a recipe for the perfect wedding film!
As the day started to draw to a close, there were the speeches and then food. The speeches were brilliant, perfectly balanced with laughter, emotion and stories. It was a real pleasure to be asked to capture their special day, and we cannot wait for them to see the films. We hope they love them as much as we do!!
