Verizon Innovative Learning for Minority Males - Summer 2015
In this video, Dr. Ladeji-Osias discusses one of the most successful summer programs offered at Morgan State University. The program funded by Verizon focused on minority males at middle schools in Baltimore area. In a 4 week program, students learned about engineering design, math, CAD, 3-D printing, entrepreneurship, and app development by Morgan State University faculty mentored by Engineering students. Additionally, teacher from the same middle schools were trained on the same concepts so they can continue implementing the same ideas throughout the school year with their students.
