Joe Hisaishi has written some incredible soundtracks for the Ghibli movies, but the music he made for Ni no Kuni is definitely amongst my favourites! The melodies are super pretty and inspired, I wish he would have chosen a similar path for the Boy and the Heron OST, unfortunately that one felt a bit too minimalist for me 😭 Btw I finally played Ni no Kuni like 2 years ago and loved it so much, it's such a beautiful game!
