Next, I explain the Offset Section , which uses 90-degree jogs in the cutting plane line to pass through multiple features that aren't aligned, emphasizing that you treat the cut surface as one solid piece without showing the jog lines in the sectioned view [02:14]. A key rule I cover is how to properly draw a section through a web or rib by leaving the thin feature unsectioned, as sectioning it would misleadingly suggest a solid block of material [06:12]. Finally, I detail the difference between a Revolved Section (in place) and a Removed Section (taken out and placed elsewhere) to show the true cross-sectional shape of an object [09:45], and I finish by showing how to use Break Lines to shorten long parts for a better fit and clearer detail on the drawing sheet [15:44].
