The biggest piece of advice is to check all the areas that touch the ground and inspect for any holes or crevices that a critter can enter. Remember, mice are small and can squeeze through the tiniest of cracks, so if it’s open, close it or fill it!
Next, use spray foam as well as steel wool to plug any areas a mouse may try to enter.
To keep mice away, place lots of fabric softeners sheets as well as cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil. This covers the food odors and repels mice!
