In the depths of desires, we unfold,
Seeking that which brings us gold,
In ME/CFS's embrace, we find,
The longing for ease of body and mind.
Yet desires, they come and go,
Like fleeting waves that ebb and flow,
In the stillness of the present hour,
We discover a tranquil inner power.
The heart's desires, they may entice,
Leading us on a quest for paradise,
But in acceptance, we find release,
From the binds of wanting and cease.
ME/CFS may challenge, no doubt,
Yet in the now, we can find clout,
To face each moment with fortitude,
In desires' dance, we find our mood.
With gratitude, we embrace each day,
Knowing desires may lead astray,
But within, a flame burns bright,
Guiding us with its sacred light.
So let us journey with mindful grace,
Embracing the moment's warm embrace,
In ME/CFS's realm, we stand tall,
Content with the desires that befall.
For within us lies a strength profound,
In each moment, our purpose is found,
Desires may come, and desires may go,
But in the present, we choose to grow.

Living with chronic illness can be challenging and isolating, but there are resources available to help individuals manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
ME/CFS is often invisible to the naked eye. A person with ME/CFS may look perfectly healthy on the outside. This can lead to misunderstandings and misconceptions from others who may not fully grasp the impact of the condition. It's not uncommon for people with ME/CFS to be dismissed, doubted, or invalidated because their illness is not immediately apparent, which can be isolating and frustrating.
I believe in the power of mindfulness, resilience, and self-compassion to help individuals develop coping strategies and find peace amidst the turmoil of chronic illness.
Some of the resources I'll feature explore mindfulness and meditation practices, which can help individuals cultivate a greater sense of calm and presence, even in the midst of physical discomfort. By learning to witness the present moment, individuals can develop a greater sense of acceptance and equanimity, which can help reduce stress and improve overall well-being.
Other resources focus on the importance of self-compassion and self-care, which can help individuals manage the emotional and psychological aspects of chronic illness. By learning to treat oneself with kindness and understanding, individuals can reduce feelings of shame and self-blame, and instead develop a greater sense of self-worth and resilience.
Through this channel, I hope to create a supportive community where individuals can connect with others and find the guidance and resources they need to live a full and meaningful life despite their chronic illness.
Thank you for joining me on this journey towards greater understanding and compassion for all of us living with chronic illness. 🙏
May we all find peace, joy, and well-being on our journey through life. 🙏
