Taiwan’s Period Museum Battling Menstrual Taboos | Connected Feature
Did you know the world’s only museum devoted to the menstrual cycle is in Taiwan? Located in Taipei’s Datong District, the Period Museum was launched by Vivi Lin and her non-profit With Red as part of their mission to fight for period equity and menstrual justice.
In this CONNECTED feature, we went along to the museum and spoke to visitors about their thoughts on period education, societal stigma and why there is a need for a physical space dedicated to periods.
