What's this? Emerald doing a MAP part, using a colour palette AND drawing humans? Unthinkable I know. Just managed to finish this in a week!
Watching Amphibia sure was fun when your favourite character is Marcy :)
If you haven't watched Amphibia, go watch it, it's sooo good! It does take a while for the main plot to get going but once it does, it goes hard. This episode, oh boy. If you really get into the series, trust me when I say this episode will emotionally wreck you; I'm just so glad that the first half of season 3 was already out when I first got into the show. (Show is complete now btw)
I think the editing turned out pretty good on this, I especially like how the scene with Sasha and Anne in the borders turned out ^^
I followed the colour palette exactly when I was drawing everything, but for some reason during editing the colours came out slightly paler. I don't think it's too noticeable but unfortunately there's nothing I can do about that.
In the end I decided not to add shading, I think it looks good enough without it.
In this MAP roses are meant to symbolize love (of any kind) and rosemary symbolizes broken relationships. Very suitable for this scene, I'd say.
