• Newly reset device is used for this video to cover every user & make it easier to follow.
• The classic X50 Unlock method of VcReg is the one featured in this video, for the "Mass Storage Mode method", refer to the documented alternate X50 Unlock guide in W.U.T (linked above)
• Do not skip chapters, doing so will make things confusing & troublesome in the end.
• If you have W.U.T installed, you can download iutools, vcreg & interop tools via that as well.
• Do not use any RC or Beta Interop tools releases for this unlock, always use the latest legacy release from the linked Github repository or in W.U.T
Common Errors & Solutions

• "MSVCP120.dll missing" or 0xc000007b error code while trying to run Iutool, then install all these one by one.

• 0x8007007b: Parameter is incorrect; recheck your command for syntax & path issues.
• 0x80070490 / 0x8007005: remove your device from "Control panel - Devices & Printers" after disconnecting the device; when done reconnect and re-run the command.
• 0x8007003: make sure the device bootloader is locked.
• 0x801882e2: make sure you have moved, not just copied the two DLL files in "C:\X50unlock" to "Documents" folder of your phone before trying to install ACER SPKG.
• 0x80188302: you are trying to re-unlock after a hard reset.
In that case, you don't need to push the package again nor any steps involving vcreg, just enable 1st and 2nd toggles in Interop tools as shown in 08:05
